GUWAHATI: The Assam Government on Saturday announced 11 police personnel have been awarded Chief Minister's Special Service Medal in a Crisis Situation (Posthumously) and Chief Minister's Outstanding Service Medal on the occasion of 75th Independence Day, which will be observed on Sunday.

Chief Minister's Special Service Medal in a Crisis Situation (Posthumously) has been awarded to SI (AB) Swapan Kumar Roy, 21stAP(IR) Bn, Katlicherra, Hailakandi, Havilder Shyam Sundar Dusad, 6thAPBn, Kathal, Cachar, ABC-114 Samsuzzaman Barbhuyia, 21st AP(IR) Bn, Katlicherra, Hailakandi, ABC-485 Liton Suklabaidya, Cachar DEF, UBC-200 Mazrul Hoque Barbhuyia, Cachar DEF and constable-911 Nazmul Hussain, 6th APBn, Kathal, Cachar.

Chief Minister's Outstanding Service Medal has been awarded to Nimbalkar Vaibhav Chandrakant (IPS), Mukul Kakoti, Inspector (UB), Police Commissioner's Office, Guwahati, Satyen Singh Hajari, Inspector (UB), Biswanath district, SI(UB) Mwblik Brahma, OC of Khatkhati police station, Karbi Anglong DEF and Borsingh Bey, constable, Karbi Anglong.
