GUWAHATI: The Excise Department on Monday conducted raids in the Segubari and Gossaigaon areas and arrested six women for making and selling illicit country liquor.
The team seized 500 litres of 'pass', a substance used in brewing the liquor along with 100 litres of the illicit country liquor and other equipments.
The accused were taken to the CJM court following which they were sent to judicial custody.
