GUWAHATI: The second day of the second workshop of the first phase of Assam's Ethnic Cultural Integration and Exchange Campaign launched by Srimanta Sankardeva Kalakshetra Samaj began with yoga training on Friday.
In the second session, the trainees were given a glimpse of Bortal, Satriya dance and indigenous culture according to their tribe. A seminar on "Assamese Community Diverse Traditions and Sense of National Unity" was held which was attended by Education Minister Ranoj Pegu. In his address Pegu said that the inter-ethnic relations and co-ordination in India have been in a high position since time immemorial and we have to keep it that way.
