GUWAHATI: The Regional Meteorological Centre (RMC) at Borjhar has predicted that current incessant rains with speedy wind would continue in Guwahati and adjoining areas on Friday due to the impact of Amphan, the super cyclonic storm.
It has also been predicted that rain/thundershower with lightning and wind with a speed of 30 to 40 km per hour is very likely to occur at isolated places over Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura on Friday.
The RMC has warned that heavy to very heavy rain is very likely to occur at isolated places over Arunachal Pradesh. Heavy to very heavy rain with extremely heavy rain is very likely to occur at a few places over West Assam & West Meghalaya and heavy rain is very likely to occur at isolated places over rest of Assam & rest Meghalaya.
The RMC has predicted that Guwahati will have maximum and minimum temperatures are most likely to be 25°C & 22°C respectively on Friday.
