GUWAHATI: The incessant rains have resulted in multiple landslides in several locations of the city, causing damage to the areas as well as injuries to people. The District Commissioner Pallav Gopal Jha of the Kamrup (M) administration visited the landslide-affected relief camp located at Hengrabari with senior officials of the district administration. The DC interacted with various inmates affected by the landslide. The DC assured that necessary steps and assistance were provided, and aid was being provided to the affected people.
It may be mentioned that the rains triggered landslides in the Milan Nagar area of the Lechubagan locality of Hengrabari in Guwahati.
