Dead body recovered from Brahmaputra River in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: A dead body was recovered from the Brahmaputra River in the Pandu locality. The body was later identified as that of Sahid Ahmed. He was a resident of the Maligaon locality and had gone missing since the morning after he had reportedly gone to take a bath in the river. The body was later discovered by locals, who informed the police. The police made arrangements to recover the dead body and take the necessary steps.
