GUWAHATI: A team led by Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (ADCP) Central at the Rupnagar area under Paltan Bazar Police Station conducted a search operation based on secret information and arrested two drug peddlers. They are identified as Sharungbam Prem Kumar Singh (35) from Manipur and Faridul Hassan (22) from Upper Luitpar, Kharghuli, Kamrup (M) The team also recovered nine packets of suspected brown sugar weighing 101 grams, four mobile phones, and one Hyundai Verna bearing the registration AS 01 BB 6326 from their possession. Further action is being initiated.
