Film festival on Mahatma from today at KBR auditorium, Cotton University

GUWAHATI: In a move to percolate down the teachings of the Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi to the younger generation and as a part of the initiative of Governor of Assam Prof Jagdish Mukhi, 'Gandhi Panorama 2022'- an international festival of films on Gandhi ji and his principles - will be inaugurated at the KBR auditorium, Cotton University here on Monday.

According to a communiqué from the Raj Bhawan, the Gandhi Panorama will be organized in seven locations of the State, spreads across the Kamrup (Metro), Dibrugarh, Jorhat, Nagaon, Cachar and Bongaigaon districts. The festival will feature several films dealing with Gandhi ji and his principles. The festival will be inaugurated with screening of a film namely 'Mahatma Gandhi', which will be followed by a film 'The Making of Mahatma'. The festival will be of seven days and each day will showcase films highlighting the teachings and principles of Mahatma Gandhi.
