GUWAHATI: A fraudster was apprehended by the Chandmari Police on Saturday. The fraudster has been identified as Bappa Dey. According to sources, there are allegations against Bappa Dey of duping people, and there are several cases regarding it in several police stations. Also, kidnapping charges are also being levelled against him. Bappa Dey looted a huge amount of money from several people under the pretext of providing flats. After he was arrested, all the people who were victims of his trap came forward, demanding their money, which had been allegedly looted by him. According to sources, there are cases registered against Dey at Chandmari, Panbazar, and Paltan Bazar police stations.
