Fraudster Nikita Tiwari in Dispur police remand

Nikita Tiwari, who was under Bhangagarh police remand, was taken into custody by the Dispur Police for one day for a prior fraud case.

GUWAHATI: Nikita Tiwari, who was under Bhangagarh police remand, was taken into custody by the Dispur Police for one day for a prior fraud case. According to police sources, she impersonated the manager of a Skoda car showroom and took money from people. According to police, a person purchased a car which Nikita registered in another person’s name and tried to sell it. In that regard, the victim had filed a case against her. Nikita and her gang looted people. They also purchased alcohol worth lakhs of rupees from a liquor shop in Bhangagarh but have not paid for the liquor.

According to reports, in Guwahati there are seven registered cases against Nikita Tiwari. Guwahati Police had arrested three fraudsters, including Nikita Tiwari, for looting people at Odalbakra. The other two have been identified as Jyotishman Lahkar from Geetanagar, and Rajesh Mandal from Nagaland. Nikita Tiwari was arrested earlier for stealing mobile phones.
