Ganja, Burmese supari, fake gold, heroin seized at Guwahati Railway station

The Government Railway Police (GRP) seized 18.770 kg of Ganja from the Hamsafar Express (Agartala to Benguluru) at Guwahati Railway Station.

GUWAHATI: The Government Railway Police (GRP) seized 18.770 kg of Ganja from the Hamsafar Express (Agartala to Benguluru) at Guwahati Railway Station. In this connection, three women are arrested, identified as Manju Das from Jharkhand, Sandhya Sarkar, and Anjali Paul from West Bengal.

On the other hand, the GRP recently seized 32 bags of Burmese supari at Guwahati Railway Station. According to sources, those bags were seized while they were trying to get loaded into Saraighat Express.

Again, the GRP arrested a person with boat-shaped fake gold at Kamakhya Railway station from the Deoghar Express. The person was identified as Kumar Tantik, from Bihar.

Again, the teams of the Special Operation Group (SOG) and the Central Guwahati Police District (CGPD) of Chandmari Police Station arrested Anuj Bora (30) of Noonmati at the FCI gate in Bamunimaidan. The team seized 11.82 gms of suspected heroin.
