GUWAHATI: The Gauhati University has issued a notice stating it is all set to conduct the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) offline exams from November 6. The announcement has prevailed tension among the BBA students as all other departments of Gauhati University will conduct exams in both online and offline mode but the BBA department exams will take place only in offline mode.

Meanwhile, the final year students of BBA have urged the administration to provide them with the online option as was done with other department's exams. "This is our last semester, we have five subjects, and if somehow a student after appearing in the first exams falls sick or is tested positive for COVID-19 then how will he/she appear in exams for other subjects. So we request the authorities to also allow the students of BBA to appear the exam through online mode," said a student of BBA, Gauhati University. "If other departments can conduct the exam in both online and offline mode then why our department can't do the same," said another student.
