GUWAHATI: The Geetanagar police on Sunday arrested six members of a gang who used to hire vehicle purchased by others on EMI system and then sell them in neighbouring States like Nagaland, Manipur and Arunachal Pradesh. Police sources identified the arrested persons as Debojit Bhattacharjee, Deep Roy, Kishore Kumar Sarma, Rinku Lahkar, Wahid Ali and Nirmal Sarkar.
On the other hand, the Geetanagar police also arrested two motorbike thieves on Sunday night.
