GUWAHATI: The Mayor of Guwahati Municipal Corporation laid the foundation stone of a crematorium in the Fatashil Ambari of Guwahati. This project will be beneficial for the local people of the region, who can cremate mortal remains under the 15th Central Financial Commission funds.
Mrigen Sarania also laid the foundations of an auditorium at the Chandra Yara Kali Mandir in Dhirenpara and a public washroom in the Rang Pathar locality. The event was also attended by the Member of Parliament from Guwahati, Queen Oja, and Deputy Mayor Smita Roy, along with several other dignitaries and local people.
