Guwahati: Blood Donation Drive Undertaken Under Support of the Zublee Foundation
GUWAHATI: Lions Club of Gauhati, in association with Zublee Foundation had organized a Blood Donation Drive at Marwari Hospital Blood Bank, Athgaon and Lions Eye Hospital, Chatribari to observe the Event - SEWA Pakhwada, (a Fortnight Long Service Period) which is a Government of India initiative, primarily focused on promoting and encouraging the spirit of service, volunteerism, and community engagement. The window period of the event is observed from 17 September 2023 and will be concluded on 2 October 2023, across the Nation, to mark the birthday celebration of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Zublee Baruah, Chairperson of Zublee Foundation has also donated blood at Lions Eye Hospital which will go to Dr. B. Barooah Cancer Institute.
In total, 48 donors came forward to donate blood at both Marwari Hospital Blood Bank and Lions Eye Hospital. The program ended successfully.
