GUWAHATI: Drugs are transported through various means, but this time it is through an ambulance. In continuation of the war against drugs, one ambulance driver was arrested near the State Cancer Institute by a team of the Central Guwahati Police District (CPGD) from Bhangagarh Police Station on Sunday. The driver is identified as Aamaluddin Ahmed (32).
The accused was caught red-handed inside the Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) complex with 4.13 gm of heroin in the ambulance bearing the registration number AS01 FC 2735. Further actions have been initiated.
