GUWAHATI: The Mayor of Guwahati, Mrigen Sarania, has announced that the proper garbage disposal process is being carried out by the Guwahati Municipality Corporation in the city.
Mentioning that a proper plan has been executed towards the disposal of garbage at the old dumping ground in the city, the elected representative added that once completed this project will help the city in a massive way.
Guwahati Municipal Corporation’s Mayor also mentioned that he had visited the site of the waste disposal project and that it will yield a large plot of about 120 bighas of vacant land in the next three to four years and added that the Corporation will be able to undertake major projects in this plot in the future.
