GUWAHATI: An incident was reported near gate number 7 of the Barsapara Cricket Stadium, where the mortal remains of a man were found on Wednesday.
According to sources, the body is identified as Prakash Bodo. Initially, it appeared to be a case of mugging, in which the attackers fled after leaving the victim dead. When the body was found, there was no wallet, cell phone, or additional belongings on it, suggesting that there may have been an attempt at armed robbery. The body also had injury marks on the back.
He was working in a factory and was a resident of Barsapara.
In this connection, an FIR has been lodged in Fatasil Ambari Police Station by the family members.
