GUWAHATI: The Guwahati Municipal Corporation (GMC) has allotted Rs 60 lakh to contractors for the reconstruction of one conference hall, public toilets, and cemeteries in each ward.
Regarding this, a meeting was organized in GMC's office premises in Uzanbazar on Sunday in the presence of Guwahati Mayor Mrigen Sarania, Commissioner Meghnidhi Dahal, chief engineer, executive engineers, contractors, and some councilors. The council also ordered that all the work for the reconstruction be completed by December 20.
