GUWAHATI: Taking the development of Guwahati forward, the Guwahati Municipal Corporation marked the beginning of several new projects in the city for the benefit of the local people. Mayor Mrigen Sarania laid the foundations for these projects.
As a part of the ongoing endeavour, foundation stones for a public auditorium in Bikas Nagar Namghar, and a public crematorium at Kali Mandir Smakhan Ghat were laid in Ward Number 43. In Ward Number 47, a public auditorium will be created on Hatigaon Namghar Path, a public washroom near the bridge, and a public crematorium in Bongaon. Also in Ward Number 25, Udalbakra Bishu Rabha Udyan will get a public auditorium, a public toilet in the Jyotishree Nagar Kali Mandir complex, and the Saptarthi Crematorium in Dakhin Gaon.
