GUWAHATI: New information has surfaced regarding the viral photo case of Indrani Tahbildar. Trishna Sarma was arrested by the Chandmari Police for allegedly taking money from people and promising to give them jobs.
According to sources, after Indrani Tahbildar’s suicide case, an FIR was lodged in Chandmari Police Station by Trishna Sarma alleging that she had given Rs 40 lakh to Anurag Chaliha for some candidates on the assurance of giving them jobs. After three rounds of interrogation, Chandmari Police arrested her. In the viral photo case and along with it the cash for jobs case, five people have been arrested.
