Guwahati police arrested 4 persons for organizing Hanuman Jayanti at TRP Road

GUWAHATI: The police arrested four persons on the charge of holding Hanuman Jayanti at the Hanuman Mandir at TRP Road in the Fancy Area here on Thursday. The four have been identified as Adarsh Sharma (priest of the temple), Jagadamba Prasad Mour, Chatter Singh Jain and Sikander Rai.

The police registered a suo motto case (213/20 under Section 188/269/270/271 IPC read with Section 51 (B) of Disaster Management Act) at Panbazar Police Station in this regard.
