Guwahati Police Reunite Abducted 3-Month-Old Infant with Mother Within 48 Hours

According to reports, the rescue operation was carried out by the Crime Branch and officials of Bashishtha Police Station.

GUWAHATI: The Guwahati Police on Friday reunited a 3-month-old toddler with his mother after he was abducted a couple of days ago.

According to reports, the rescue operation was carried out by the Crime Branch and officials of Bashishtha Police Station.

Notably, on 11/08/21, one Halima Khatun complained that her 3-month-old son had been kidnapped.

Acting on the complaint, an operation led to 7 people including Jahangir, the mastermind, who led the team to the child is now reunited with the mother.

Earlier in July, a minor boy went missing at Sadilapur under the Palasbari Police outpost.

Kaushik Kalita (6), son of Hari Kalita and Junu Kalita, was playing with his friends in front of their house on July 19. Some locals suspect that Kaushik was picked up in a black Marutiwagonar car by some miscreants.

The police are continuing their search operations.
