Guwahati: Several Injured As Bus Loses Control and Collides with Other Vehicle in Kahilipara

GUWAHATI: A significant road accident occurred on Monday in Kahilipara, Guwahati, injuring a number of people. Initial reports state that a city bus lost control and crashed into the Axom Sarva Siksha Abhijan Mission offices in Kahilipara, causing the accident. According to reports, the bus also ran into another car.

Two people have suffered grave injuries in the event, according to sources. The Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) was rushed to receive them right away.

Several other persons were hurt in the incident, and two of them have critical injuries, according to the information that has been obtained.

Meanwhile, in a frightening event, a man driving a four-wheeler car ran over at least nine persons in Juria, which is part of Assam's Nagaon district, according to reports released on Monday.

The event was reported in the village of Batamari in Juria, when a guy named Moinul reportedly ran his car over the villagers following a brief altercation.

At least nine persons were hurt in the incident; seven of them were taken to Nagaon Hospital in serious condition for advanced treatment, and the other two are still receiving care at the Dagaon Primary Health Centre.

Recently, In the Lower Siang district of Arunachal Pradesh, one person was killed and another was injured after the vehicle they were riding in went off a road and plummeted into a canyon, police reported here on Thursday.

According to Inspector Bisor Boje, officer-in-porn of the Likabali police station, the accident happened on Wednesday 25 km from the town of Likabali. The car was travelling from Likabali to Gensi. Tumi Doke, the car's owner, passed away at the scene; Ige Nada, the driver, suffered significant injuries, according to the police officer. Nada was sent urgently to a hospital in Dibrugarh, Assam, for better care.
