GUWAHATI: The Special Task Force (STF) conducted a raid based on information near the Khanapara bus stand in front of Khanapara Veterinary College under the Dispur Police Station jurisdiction and apprehended two peddlers including one woman.
According to sources, the two peddlers are identified as Mofiz Ali alias Fata (26) and Manjila Khatoon alias Kunu (22) wife of Mofiz Ali, hailing from Rampur, Mukhbi under Nalbari Police Station. They currently reside near the ASTC Khanapara in Ri-Bhoi district. The team recovered 63 vials concealed with suspected heroin, weighing 81.5 g. The team also seized Rs. 3,000 in cash, two mobile handsets, and eight empty vials.
