GUWAHATI: Union Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party) president JP Nadda will arrive in the State on Monday for election campaigning.
Both the leaders will attend three rallies each.
Shah will address rallies in Majuli, Jonai and Udalguri and he will be accompanied by BJP national general secretary Dilip Saikia.
During the rallies, Shah will campaign for Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal, Bhuban Pegu, Gobindo Basumatary, Biswajit Daimary, Jitu Krishan, and Ashok Singhal. Later in the day, he will address an important party meeting in Guwahati.
Nadda will be campaigning for Tinkhong constituency candidate Bimal Bora, Titabor candidate Hemanta Kalita, and Behali candidate Ranjit Dutta.
Meanwhile, BJP leader and Bihar Industry Minister Shahnawaz Hussain will campaign in Rupohihat, Dhing, and Laharighat for Nazir Hussain, Sanjiv Bora, and Mohammad Kadiru Zaman Jinnah respectively.
