HSLC exam 2022: Six rank holders from Kamrup (Metro)

Six students of the Kamrup (metro) district secured ranks in the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) exam 2022

GUWAHATI: Six students of the Kamrup (metro) district secured ranks in the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) exam 2022, result of which was declared on Tuesday by the Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA).

Of these six students, two are 7th rank holders. They are Ashlesha Sarma from St Mary' Higher Secondary School, Guwahati and Nisha Sarma from TC Government Girls' HS & MP School, Guwahati. Both students secured 591 marks.

Anasuya Thakuria from GU Model High School secured the 9th rank with 589 marks. The remaining three students secured the 10th rank, each scoring 588 marks, and they are Sourav Barman from Assam Jatiya Bidyalay, Noonmati, Mayank Agarwal from Nichols High School, Satribari, and Jurishma Chakravarty from St. Stephens School.

The pass percentage this year in Kamrup (metro) district is 63.12 per cent. A total of 14,332 students had appeared for the HSLC exam this year, out of which 9,046 students passed. A total of 3,447 students secured first division, 3,545 students secured second division and 2,054 students secured third division.
