Assam HSLC 2021 School Leaving Certificate: ABSU Holds Meeting with SEBA Officials

GUWAHATI: The All Bodo Students Union (ABSU) held a meeting with the Board of Secondary Education Assam (SEBA) officials with regards to the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) examination 2021. Notably, on the occasion, ABSU president Dipen Boro speaking to media said that the students' body has recommended few key points to consider while conducting the exam. The students' body has demanded to conduct Offline HSLC final examination 2021 under SEBA considering the normalcy of Covid situation and also declare exam schedules 20 days before the exam starts.

Further, due to Covid-19 protocol the exam venues may be extended to auxiliary centers or feeder schools from the main center to reduce the crowd in particular centre. Also to conduct the examinations of all the subjects with 50% marks with duration of 2 hours exam or with the MIL and English Compulsory and choosing any other two elective subjects with 100% marks with 3 hours duration.

The body in the memorandum has stated to consider the maximum of 20 marks for multiple choice questions for each subject while choosing for 100 marks in each subject and follow strict SOP of Covid protocol in case of exam centers, students and invigilators etc. On the other hand, the All Assam Students Union (AASU) said that the students 39; body held a discussion with guardians and teachers of the state with regards to HSLC examination and will submit their views and opinion to the SEBA by May 28, 2021.
