Indian Army launches Super 30 initiatives to mentor local youth

The Indian Army, in partnership with Oil India Limited, is planning to conduct a major social emancipation project by training potential officer candidates to face the selection process in the Indian Armed Forces.

 GUWAHATI: The Indian Army, in partnership with Oil India Limited, is planning to conduct a major social emancipation project by training potential officer candidates to face the selection process in the Indian Armed Forces. Towards that end, the Army is going to identify, coach, and guide children of classes XI, XII, and graduation students for the NDA and CDS, respectively.

The outreach will be conducted at DPS Khanapara on March 19 and 26 and at Maharishi Vidya Mandir on March 24, respectively. Similarly, outreach will also be undertaken at the Assam Valley School in Tezpur on March 18 and March 25. The outreach will include interaction, screening, and a medical examination to shortlist 30 students, who would be trained for the NDA and CDS exams and the SSB interview.

The shortlisted students will be coached by a nationally renowned coaching institute (the Georgian Academy for Professional Studies) in a residential and day boarding format, totally free of charge, stated a press release.
