GUWAHATI: The Gauhati High Court has asked Cachar Superintendent of Police (SP) to file an affidavit within two weeks on the missing of Kajal Dutta since 2016. Kajal Dutta, a driver, was associated with State Minister Parimal Suklabaidya.

The High Court issued such an order on Friday after hearing the writ – W.P. (Crl) 10/2020 – filed by Sefali Dutta, the widowed mother of Kajal Dutta. The case has been listed for its next hearing August 28, 2020.
