GUWAHATI: The Centre for Cultural Resources and Training (CCRT) under the Union Ministry of Culture is organizing a variety of educational programmes for students in the field of linking education with culture since a long time. The educational activities of the CCRT for students studying in various schools are designed to create awareness about India's rich natural and cultural heritage under its "Extension Services and Community Feedback Programme". The outbreak of pandemic has brought many challenges in continuation of such useful activities of students. But with the improving pandemic situation and on reopening of the schools, CCRT, Regional Centre, Guwahati has started its outdoor activities in the schools again. Such a programme is being conducted by CCRT, Regional Centre, Guwahati at Betkuchi High School from January 6-8, 202 I. The classes are conducted on the subjects "Learning Songs in Indian Language", "Mime and Movement" and crafts classes like terracotta, flower making and folk painting.
The school authority, student participants and guardians of the area have appreciated the initiative, a press release said.
