GUWAHATI: The Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport (LGBIA) of Guwahati has been awarded an ‘A rank’ by the Adani Workplace Management Academy for its dedication to superior management at work. This award reflects LGBIA’s commitment to creating a streamlined and productive workplace in accordance with the principles outlined in the Workspace Management System.
AWMS was implemented to standardize and improve workplace management throughout the Adani Group. 70 applications were submitted for the second cycle of AWMA Accreditation, which began on October 3, 2022, with an exceptional 70% rise over the initial cycle. LGBIA was subjected to intensive evaluation and auditing, and it came out on top, earning the prestigious ‘A’ grade.
The airport has recently implemented a cutting-edge QR-code-based feedback system to value passenger opinions. Passengers can now easily provide feedback at numerous touchpoints across the airport, including restrooms, retail, and other areas. The management can respond quickly to issues and maintain a culture of constant improvement thanks to this real-time feedback mechanism. The airport management has also placed a strong focus on delivering prompt and efficient services. Passengers can rely on a responsive and supportive staff to answer queries, offer support, and assure an effortless travel experience. The airport recently upgraded the chairs in the terminal to a higher quality as part of its dedication to passenger comfort.
