GUWAHATI: The State government effected a massive reshuffle in the State police force at the SP and ASP levels.
Assistant IGP (Trg) Randeep Kumar Baruah, Ulubari, has been transferred and posted as SP (Border-II) at Srimantapur; SP Border-II Bikram Gogoi has been transferred and posted as Tenth APBn Commandant at Kahilipara; SP (Law) CID Pranabjyoti Goswami as Special SP, CID, Ulubari; 22nd AP (IR) Bn Commandant at Likabari Muslehuddin Ahmed has been transferred and posted as the Commandant of 1st APBn at Lighiripukhuri; and 23rd AP (IR) Bn Commandant Santanu Sarma Pathak at Siloni as SP BI (EO-I), Srimantapur.
Satyajit Nath, who is currently attached to Assam Police Headquarters, has been posted as the Commandant of the 26th AP (IR) Bn at Chamrasali; SP, SB (Zonal) at Kahilipara. Ripul Das has been transferred and posted as SP, SB (Establishment), Kashilipara; Deputy Commissioner of Police, Protocol Budhindra Nath as DCP has been transferred and posted as Commandant of 22nd AP (IR) Bn at Likabali; Commandant, BTC, Dergaon. Nirmal Baishya has been transferred and posted as Commandant 23rd AP (IR) Bn at Siloni; 3rd Assam Commando Battalion (ops) Commandant at Doldoli Dr. Manabendra Bogoi has been transferred and posted as IGP (AP), Ulubari; ASP HQ, Hijai Ponjit Dowarah will hold the charge of post in rank of SP/Commandant/DCP/AIGP and has been transferred and posted as the Commandant of Fifth Assam Commando Battalion (urban ops and law and order) at Pabhoi; SP HQ, Bajali Gayatri Sonowal has been transferred and posted as DCP (Protocol), Guwahati Police Commissionerate; Additional DCP (Traffic-II), Guwahati will hold the charge post in rank of SP/Commandant/DCP/AIGP and transferred and posted as SP (State Crime Record Bureau), CID, Ulubari; ASP HQ, Dhubri, Rozy Rani Sarmah will hold the charge post in rank of SP/Commandant/DCP/AIGP and be transferred and posted as SP (Zonal-III), CID, Ulubari; ASP HQ, Darrang; Nirupam Hazarika will hold the charge post in rank of SP/Commandant/DCP/AIGP and be transferred and posted as Assistant IGP (Admin. Esstt), Ulubari; ASP HQ, Nagaon. Suprotive Lal Baruah will hold the charge post in rank of SP/Commandant/DCP/AIGP and be transferred and posted as Commandant of the 3rd Assam Commando Battalion (Ops) at Doldoli; ASP HQ, Dhemaji Gourav Kumar Agarwal, will hold the charge post in rank of SP/Commandant/DCP/AIGP and be transferred and posted as Commandant, BTC, Dergaon; 2nd in Command in the 4th APBn, Kahilipara Sumita Shormah will hold the charge post in rank of SP/Commandant/DCP/AIGP and be transferred and posted as Assistant IGP (Trg) Ulubari; ASP HQ, Sadiya Rajendra Ojha, will hold the charge post in rank of SP/Commandant/DCP/AIGP and be transferred and posted as SP, SB (Zonal) Kahilipara; ASP HQ, Barpeta Dr. Pradip Saikia will hold the charge post in rank of SP/Commandant/DCP/AIGP and be transferred and posted as 6th APBn Commandant at Kathal, Silchar; Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (Admin), Police Commissionerate Purabi Majumdar will hold the charge post in rank of SP/Commandant/DCP/AIGP and be transferred and posted as SP (Technical), SB, Kahilipara; and ASP, CID, Ulubari. Ripunjoy Kakati will hold the charge post in the rank of SP/Commandant/DCP/AIGP and will be transferred and posted as Assistant IGP (AP) Dergaon.
