GUWAHATI: Gauhati University Programme Coordinator of NSS Cell, Dr. Ranjan Kumar Kakati, attended an orientation programme for NSS volunteers as a resource person, which was organized by the Mangaldai College NSS unit.
In his speech, he placed emphasis on the importance of social services in student life. He elaborated on many aspects of NSS as well as opportunities in NSS. Dr. Kamala Kanta Borah, principal of Mangaldai College, has inaugurated the orientation programme. He said that students must involve themselves in the development of society through social work, stated a press release.
