Marwari Sammelan Guwahati Branch Conducts Massive COVID Vaccination Drive

Marwari Sammelan, Guwahati Branch has so far been successful in inoculating coronavirus vaccines among 25,000 people in the city.

GUWAHATI: Marwari Sammelan, Guwahati Branch has so far been successful in inoculating coronavirus vaccines among 25,000 people in the city. Besides this, the NGO has also registered 13,000 people who cannot use smart phones, for the next phase of vaccination drive. Ashok Dhanuka, advisor, Marwari Sammelan, Guwahati Branch, said that the coronavirus vaccination drive was started from May 17 in collaboration with the State Health Department at Maheswari Bhavan at Chatribari in the city. He said that the success of the vaccination drive could be attributed to selfless, dedicated and continuous service of his organization.

Dhanuka said that the individuals in the age group of 18+ to 95+ years had been vaccinated during the camp. He said arrangements had also been made to vaccinate the differently-abled persons and aged residents as per their convenience.

Thanking Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma for his pro-active role in intensifying the vaccination drive in the State, Dhanuka said that Marwari Sammelan had also set a target to vaccinate more people. He expressed his gratitude to doctors and nurses of Marwari Hospital and Maheshwari Seva Trust for their support to make the vaccination drive successful.
