GUWAHATI: Media panelist of the BJP's State unit, Duina Barbaruah has been selected for the Global Inspirational Award 2022 to be held in London on September 9.
The award-giving ceremony, to be held at the House of Commons, London, will be graced by many dignitaries from India and the UK, including MPs from House of Commons and House of Lords, people's representatives, entrepreneurs and industrialists.
Instituted by Trident Communications, London, the Global Inspirational Award is being conferred on eminent personalities for outstanding contributions in their respective fields. Barbaruah has been selected for her great contributions in espousing social causes and strengthening humanity.
She has also been invited as a speaker at the Naya Bharat Mahotsav 2022, Sankalp Se Siddhi Tak, to be held in London from September 8 to September 12. The seminar, to be followed by group/panel discussions on Naya Bharat, Samriddh Bharat and Shrestha Bharat, will be held at the High Commission of India, India House, London on September 8.
"It will be a great opportunity for me to showcase the major transformations the country has undergone in the last eight years that are not only reflected in numbers but also profound shifts in politics and policy, in diplomacy and digitization, in arts and sports under the BJP dispensation," she said.
The five-day Mahotsav will also showcase the rich cultural mosaic of India through exhibitions and fashion shows, stated a press release.
