GUWAHATI: The Kainadhara Sakha Xahitya Xabha felicitated the meritorious students who passed the Higher Secondary (HS) and High School Leaving Certificates (HSLC) examinations with flying colours. Under the chairmanship of Phanidhar Pathak, president of Kainadhara Sakha Xahitya Xabha, a meeting was held recently at the Kainadhara Bangshigopal Namghar and at the Udaynagar Kainadhara Public Bihu Mancha. In the meeting, as guests of honour, social worker, progressive thinker, and president of Kainadhara Senior Citizen Sanmilan, Binay Kumar Baruah, and social reformer and progressive thinker Dr. Munindra Nath Roy spoke in detail about the present education system and appealed to the students to be good citizens in the future.
As a distinguished guest, Dr. Arun Samma delivered a speech about the new habits developing among the new generation in society. The meritorious students were felicitated with phulam gamusa and a citation stated a press release.
