GUWAHATI: Industries and Commerce Minister Chandra Mohan Patowary has deeply condoled the demise of noted litterateur Sashi Sharma. In a condolence statement, the Minister said, ‘Sashi Sharma was a distinguished author, critic and social thinker. His demise is an irreparable loss for society. His contribution to Assamese literature and criticism will be remembered by posterity.’ The Minister also prayed to the almighty for eternal peace of the departed soul and extended his condolences to members of the bereaved family.
