GUWAHATI: The state government, through a notification, has mentioned that Mugdhajyoti Dev Mahanta, APS, Superintendent of Police, CID (Narcotics Control), has been transferred and posted as Managing Director of Guwahati Utilities Company Limited (GUCL). However, he will continue to hold the service of Superintendent of Police, CID (Narcotics Control) in the home department only for salary purposes.
