GUWAHATI: Sonitjyotika – a musical-dramatic lyrical feature based on existing archaeological and historical relics of temples, stone architecture and sculptures combined with episodes of mythology within the limits of Sonitpur– will be staged at the Sri Sri Madhavdeb International Auditorium, Srimanta Sankaradeva Kalakshetra, on September 28. Written back in 1981 by Kanak Chandra Sharma, this drama reflects some of the ruined treasures along with the touch of mythology in dramatic and musical form. It has been presented by Darpan, Guwahati, stated a press release.
