GUWAHATI: The construction of Sri Sri Nabagraha Smashan Niramuhia Shiva Mandir is mostly completed and is to be inaugurated on December 15.
Addressing the media at Guwahati Press Club on Wednesday, the managing committee of the inaugural programme said that Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal will be there to inaugurate the Shiva Mandir and Jagat Guru Shankracharya Sri Sri Gnanananda Tirtha Mahaprabhu will grace the occasion with his presence in the inaugural ceremony.
The committee mentioned that the construction of the Shiva Mandir was started way back in 2010 and a total of around 2 crore has been spent in the construction.
The inaugural session will be followed by a list of cultural programme including music performance by Kalpana Patowari, Deodhani performance, a programme of Shashtriya Sangeet and also bhajans performance by the artists of Baijnath Dham.
