GUWAHATI: Putting their foot down, the National People’s Party (NPP): Assam State Unit made it absolutely clear that under no circumstances will they let the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill (CAB) to be implemented in the State. Addressing a press meet on Thursday, president of the Party, Dilip Kr Bora said that the protest will continue for as long as the Bill stands. The move was strategized at the Party’s national executive meeting held at New Delhi on November 30. “We support all the protestors who are fighting against the Bill in Assam and the Northeast,” said Bora.
