New Art Players greets senior citizens of Guwahati city

 GUWAHATI: Continuing its annual tradition, New Art Players (NAP), a premier socio-cultural cultural organization of the city, offered Bihu greetings and felicitated a few senior citizens of Guwahati city in recognition of their immense contributions to the society in different fields on the first day of Bohag on March 15.

Members of NAP visited the residences of Justice (Retd) P Agarwal, the retired principal of TC Girls Higher Secondary and Multi-Purpose School, Ms. Chitra Choudhury, Editor of Prantik Sri Pradip Barua, and retired IFS officer Rudra Chandra Goswami. Appreciating this gesture from NAP, the recipients of this honour lauded the efforts of remembering senior citizens of the society and sharing their contributions with the new generation. A press release said the team of NAP was represented by its president, Ajoy Datta, general secretary, Rathindra Narayan Bhattacharya, and other senior members, including Kalyan Kumar Das, Lakhi Das, and Utpal Goswami.
