GUWAHATI: A new executive body of the Advocate’s Association of Guwahati was formed in a recently held election on September 21 for the session 2023–24 by the advocates of the association. The elected members of the executive body are Prabhat Chandra Das as President, Md. Samsul Haque as Vice President, Pranay Kumar Das as General Secretary, Azit Baishya as Assistant General Secretary, and Devojyoti Borah as Treasurer.
The other six members, namely Prasanta Kumar Hazarika, Chittaranjan Dev, Jiba Kanta Neog, Nripendra Nath Deka, Babita Das, and Ejumoni Barua, are executive members, stated a press release.
