GUWAHATI: Several persons from various organizations in the BTAD (Bodoland Territorial Area Districts) joined the BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party) on Friday.
In this regard, the joining ceremony was held at the party headquarters in Hengerabari under party president Ranjeet Kumar Dass. Addressing the ceremony, Dass welcomed the new joinees. He said that currently there are 42 lakh BJP members in Assam which they target to increase to 65 lakh. In four districts of BTAD, there were two lakh members which has increased to 4,80,000.
