Biju Hazarika, wife of Gobin Chandra Hazarika, passed away at her residence in Hatigaon Sewali Path (Shivam-Sai bye lane) on October 14 at the age of 73. She was the daughter of Saruram Hazarika and Dhakumi Hazarika from Uriyagaon, Nagaon. She leaves behind her only daughter, Reneema Hazarika, apart from a host of other relatives. Hazarika received her education from Nagaon College and B. Borooah College, Guwahati, after which she started working at DTO Guwahati. Hazarika was also a woman of resolute determination and courage. Her demise has been mourned by all who knew her.
