Opium seized at Guwahati Railway Station

The Government Railway Police (GRPS) recovered a total of five bags of opium from the Poorvottar Sampak Kranti Express at the Guwahati Railway Station in an abandoned condition.

GUWAHATI: The Government Railway Police (GRPS) recovered a total of five bags of opium from the Poorvottar Sampak Kranti Express at the Guwahati Railway Station in an abandoned condition. The item is worth around Rs. 25 lakh. The perpetrators used improvised technical methods to transport the seized opium.
