GUWAHATI: The visits of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah to Assam have set a good trending of State BJP's social media department's twitter trend.
According to State BJP's media convener DewanDhrubajyoti Moral, the twitter handle – #AssamwithPMModi – created on the Prime Minister's JerengaPathar visit received over 57,000 tweets on that day (January 23), scaling up to the fourth position at the national trending.
Likewise, the #ShahWithAssam created for the Home Minister's visits to Nalbari and Kokreajhar received 27,000 more tweets, taking the position up to the third position at the national level, Moral said.
