GUWAHATI: A joint team of the Crime Branch and Basistha Police conducted a raid at Jharna Path, Saukuchi, and seized 60 vials containing 84 grams of heroin. The team apprehended two peddlers. The peddlers are identified as Baabul Ali (23) and Immam Jamadat (32) both hailing from Barpeta district. The team also seized cash worth Rs 7790, two mobile phones, and one scooty bearing registration number AS 01 EF 9730. Further actions are initiated.
