GUWAHATI: The Railway Protection Force (RPF) conducted a drive in Maligaon regarding increasing theft. Acting on intel, the RPF could detain the miscreant, who is identified as Utpal Nath. According to sources, based on Utpal’s confession, the RPF were taken to the scrapyard, where the stolen items were kept. Again, they conducted a drive at Boripara and recovered the stolen items. The RPF also arrested the owner of the scrap.
